1. Purpose of the App

Angelus Domini is a Catholic prayer application designed to encourage the daily prayer of the Angelus at 6:00 AM, 12:00 Noon, and 6:00 PM while fostering a worldwide community united in prayer.

The App is intended for devotional and educational purposes. It is not a substitute for participation in the sacramental life of the Church, pastoral guidance, or professional advice of any kind.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by the laws of your country) to create an account and use the App.

If you are under the applicable age, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Account

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information.
• Keep your account information up to date.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any portion of the App without prior written permission.

6. Prayer Content

Prayer texts included within the App are provided for devotional purposes. Public domain prayers are reproduced with care. Where copyrighted material is used, appropriate permissions or licenses will be obtained.

7. Availability

We strive to keep Angelus Domini available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

The App may occasionally be unavailable due to:

• Maintenance
• Updates
• Technical issues
• Internet outages
• Circumstances beyond our control

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Angelus Domini is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• Compatibility with every device

9. Limitation of Liability

Deleting Your Account

You may request deletion of your Angelus Domini account at any time.

When the in-app account deletion feature becomes available, you will be able to delete your account directly from the App.

• Your registered email address
• Your full name (optional, to help identify your account)

What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted

When your deletion request is processed:

• Your account will be permanently removed.
• Your name and email address will be deleted.
• Your prayer history and personal progress will be deleted.
• Your account credentials will no longer work.
• Any information that can reasonably identify you will be removed or anonymized.

Anonymous Statistics

To preserve the integrity of worldwide prayer participation statistics, anonymous aggregated totals may remain after your account is deleted.

These statistics contain no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to you.

Information That May Be Retained

In limited circumstances, we may retain certain information if required to:

• Comply with legal obligations.
• Resolve disputes.
• Prevent fraud or abuse.
• Enforce our legal agreements.
• Maintain necessary security or backup records for a limited period.
